Prof. Ping Xiang

Xiang Ping, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor and Deputy Director, was selected as the expert of the “Hundred Talents Program” for the introduction of high-level overseas talents in Hunan Province. He graduated with a Ph.D. from the City University of Hong Kong in 2012, and worked as a Post-doctoral Researcher and Associate Researcher at the City University of Hong Kong from 2012 to 2017.

His research directions include: dynamics of high-speed railway vehicle-track-bridge coupling system, high-speed railway bridge driving safety under earthquake action, computational mechanics finite element method, computational mechanics meshless method, steel-reinforced concrete composite structure, computational nanomechanics and biomechanics.
